Triathlon Coaching Down Under

All photos shown on my Website or Blogs were taken by Col Stewart or Kiyomi Niwata we are using either my Nikon D200 or D70. Fitted with either a: AF-S D18 to 120 -or- AF-S 70 to 300 Both are Nikon VR Lenses.

Our storage is by either one of 3 different SanDisk Compact Flashes: Extreme 111 2.0 GB. Extreme 1v -4.0 GB. Extreme Ducati 8GB.

My Nikon D200 is fitted with a power drive. Both of our cameras use a use a Nikon SPEEDLIGHT SB-800 Flash UNIT

There is every chance one of these 3 pairs of legs could be the winner of the first ITU WC Race for 2008. Mooloolaba. ITI Triathlon March 30.

I will have a large squad of international athletes racing this year; they will then go to Ishigaki this will be their second race as they will by-pass New Plymouth. NZ. Being 3 races in 3 weeks and some are going to be used as selection races. Every Race is important!

Two of my good friends & my favourites from my highly performed Japanese Squad.

Yuichi Hosoda & Ryosuke Yamamoto! Racing Mooloolaba ITU World Cup

Like many other internationals! Both train on the beautiful Gold Coast under my direction over our summer months

Both arriving here soon and both will be looking for a big race on March 30, 2008

Yuichi has been working exclusively with me since the age of 15 years. He has developed into a potential champion triathlete he has the skills and the good looks to achieve anything.

Rhyosuke a newer member having been with me for only some 4 years. He is an all round sportsman very strong in all triathlon needs; swim, bike, run, transitions, & cross training.

I have tried a few different Blog set ups and this is by far the best!

I still use a Japanese based site "Excite" for my Japanese International squad members.

2008 is shaping up to being another big year .

The ITU World Champs. Vancouver. Canada. June 7 & 8th.

A bit early maybe however, we will be there! fit & ready for anything!

My elite squad athletes loved the somewhat hilly, technical bike course, last years the rain made even better for them, now they are looking forward to another big race.

The Japanese restaurants in Vancouver near the race site are plentiful & the food selection is good for all.

The training facilities are another, very good aspect of this race.

Beijing brings it's own challengers; for two of my team it could be their 3rd Olympics.

While for others hopefully their first time.

Love this sport with a passion!
